Refyned Goods is my version of an accidental child… unexpected at first, completely life-changing in the end.

I never set out to start a candle company. This all began because of Refynery Chicago.

I was planning one of our first events and wanted guests to leave with something that actually felt like our brand. Not another tote bag destined for the back of a closet or a branded pen that would disappear in a week. I wanted a giveaway people would keep, use, and remember.

So I decided to make candles.

Not because I knew anything about candles, but because fragrance lingers. It becomes part of a memory. Long after the event is over, lighting that candle brings you right back to the people, the conversations, and the feeling of being there.

People loved them.

Then they started asking where they could buy more.

I didn't have an answer.

Now I do.
